Buyers Premium: A buyers premium is payable at 18% + VAT on the hammer price..

Collection/Shipping of purchased items is usually to be the responsibility of the buyer. However, the Auction House may be able to provide a postage & packing service for certain items. We do not offer this service for glazed or fragile items, large lots of miscellaneous items, multiple lots, large lots of china, items of furniture or other large items.

All other items are at Auction House discretion and there is a minimum charge for packing & handling of £10+VAT.

For suitable items the Auction House will quote for postage & packing via Royal Mail/Parcelforce services only.  This will include the amount for compensation to the Invoice Value for loss in transit only. Insurance cover for damage and breakages in transit will be the responsibility of the Buyer, and in no event will The Auction House be liable for any damage regardless of the cause. Buyers are welcome to make their own arrangements for collection by another Courier Service, in which case there will be a charge for any packing undertaken by The Auction House. (packing exclusions as above)

On request we can provide a list of couriers who collect unpackaged items from us and may be able to quote prior to bidding
